Getting bangs is never an easy choice. Cutting your own bangs, however, is something that some people might think stupid, but I call a cost-effective life lesson. I’m not telling you to “YOLO” (because we all know that Drake’s lyrics and dance moves are not to be trusted), but it’s quite an incredible feeling when you realize that your hair is just hair and begin to cut through months of growth (incredible in a gut-wrenching sense or euphoric, I have yet to decide). Anyway, there’s a 95% probability that I’ll be kicking myself right in the backside for even considering cutting my bangs, but where’s the fun in that? Growing out one’s bangs is never a smooth ride, but it’s just hair, right?
